Team information

Please note that we’re expecting teams of 3 and an additional advisor for MBC 2026.

Team leader

Please select a team leader. All official communication will happen through the team leader’s email, the cases will be sent to this email. We also want you to submit your solutions for the first round via this email.

Participants

Please note, that all team members should explicitly agree to the game rules and the GDPR rules one by one. In accordance with that, in every team member application part the respective team member shall accept the Game Rules and the GDPR Rules via clicking the checkbox.

Advisor

Please note that we’re expecting teams of 3 or 4 and an additional advisor for MBC 2026.

Competition

The competition consists of
two rounds.

Teams must submit their solutions for the first round by 11:59 PM on February 22nd (GMT+1) via email to mbc@mbc.modul.ac.at. The submission must include a presentation of up to 10 content slides and a video of up to 6 minutes in which the team presents their case.

Case solving

In the finals teams will have 24 hours to solve the case they are given. At the end of the 24 hours case, they will have to submit a presentation in .pdf format.

Presentations

During the presentations, there will be 10 minutes for presenting the slides followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. The teams will present in 2 divisions (5-5 teams), and the top 2 teams from each division will advance to the Grand-Finals where they will compete for the grand prize.

Grand-Finals

Throughout the final weekend, a jury of professional excellence will ensure the best decision. Further information about the Finals will be provided after the first round.

Game Rules

By registering, all team members agree to the official competition rules and the Code of Conduct.

All team members must be enrolled in high school during the 2024/25 academic year.

All submissions must be original work created by the team.

Each team may submit only one solution per round.

Presentations are held in English, all members should be able to communicate their ideas clearly.
